研究の経緯
人間社会の営みが広域の環境を変化させ、さまざまな弊害をもたらしていることが明らかになってきた。都市・地域環境へ配慮した建築・都市計画のあり方の追及を研究目的として、建築・都市におけるエネルギーの合理的利用、自然環境を生かしたパッシブ・デザイン技術の開発に係る研究を行っている。
